I wish it weren't the case but, it's not daily that I get a Cd from an artist that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from starting to end. There is commonly a song or two that I just can't force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Singing The Old Time Way. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

Gospel music fans will identify some of the well known guests that have been assembled to play along with Patterson on some of the tracks. Artists like Alvin Speight and Sylvester Robinson just to name a couple.

Overall Singing The Old Time Way is superior from starting to end. One of those Cds that after a few listens the songs are just etched into your memory. A must have for the Gospel fan. literally spectacular from starting to end.

While the whole album is superior the truly standout tunes are disc 1, track 13 - Glory Glory Hallelujah, disc 1, track 18 - Jesus Is Mine, and disc 2, track 16 - My Heart Is Fixed My Mind Made Up.

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On Repeat"] is disc 2, track 15 - How Much I Owe. Great track!
